New Billing & Payment Portal Updates

Get ready! Penn State is launching a redesigned billing & payment portal in summer 2026. This new experience is built to make managing your student account easier, faster, and more intuitive for both students and families.

The upgraded portal will offer a streamlined interface, clear navigation, and more flexible tools to help you stay on top of tuition, fees, and payments throughout the year.

A trusted payments provider, Flywire, will power the new system behind the scenes, supporting secure online payments and enhancements that better serve our community.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the new billing and payment site launch?

The new billing & payment portal will launch by the end of April 2026.

What is Changing?

Dynamic Billing:

The new system replaces static monthly billing statements with dynamic, real-time account updates

Charges for tuition and fees will post to student accounts at the start of each semester (early August for fall, early January for spring, and early May for Summer Session) along with the due date. If you need a statement, you’ll be able to print one at any time.

Plans with International Payment Option

All Penn State students will be able to enroll in an installment payment plan every semester. International students will now have the added option to use international payment methods for installment payments.

Direct Deposit for Direct Parent PLUS Loan Borrowers

Parents who borrow a Direct Parent PLUS Loan will be able to receive refunds from excess funds via direct deposit—eliminating the wait for a mailed check.
